Our goal is to keep our patients as healthy as possible. The best way to do so is through ongoing dental care and teaching our patients how to practice good oral hygiene at home.

Dr. Victor Grandinetti and Dr. Paul Morrison work with patients of various ages and know how to help children, teens, and adults feel comfortable while visiting the dentist. Families throughout Illinois bring their children to our office for dental cleanings, exams, and check-ups.
We recommend that teeth cleanings and exams start from a very young age, in order to instill good dental health habits as early as possible.
Regular Cleanings & Exams Are Important
The American Dental Association (ADA) recommends that adults and children receive professional teeth cleanings at least twice a year.
Good oral health is important regardless of how old you are. As people age, their risk for an oral infection continues to increase. The older teeth get, the more the protective enamel starts to wear away, and the easier it gets for cavities to develop.
The best way to combat this is by brushing and flossing throughout the day in addition to visiting First Class Smiles on a regular basis. We offer flexible appointment times so that you can schedule an appointment around your work or family schedule, making it easier than ever to get your dental cleanings.
Dental Health Education
During your routine teeth cleanings and exams, Dr. Grandinetti or Dr. Morrison will also discuss ways that you can keep your teeth and gums healthy at home.
At First Class Smiles, we believe that good oral hygiene at home is vitally important in conjunction with regular visits to our office.
Our doctors recommend that you use a soft toothbrush to brush your teeth with fluoride toothpaste twice a day. This is one of the best ways to clean harmful sugar and bacteria off of your teeth.
You will also benefit from flossing daily to get food particles and bacteria out of hard-to-reach-places. Following up with an antibacterial mouthwash will help kill any remaining germs.
